Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just craving a cozy night in with the family, this chocolate, orange, and hazelnut bundt cake is sure to be a hit. Follow the recipe below to learn how to make this mouthwatering dessert.

Ingredients:

225g Soften Butter/Baking Spread

225g Caster Sugar

4 x Eggs

1 x Zest of an Orange

1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

1 Tsp Baking Powder

225g Self-Raising Flour

130g Chopped Hazelnuts

Chocolate Ganache:

150g Dark Chocolate

150ml Double Cream

Decoration:

20g Chopped Hazelnuts

1. Preheat the oven to 160C/320F/Gas Mark 3. Chop the hazelnuts into small pieces and then place them onto a baking tray. Roast the hazelnuts for 10 minutes and allow them to cool.

2. Using some of the Soften Butter/Baking Spread grease the Bundt Tin. Make sure it is well coated as you do not want the cake to stick to the tin.

3. Next place all of the ingredients (save 20g of the chopped hazelnuts for later) into a bowl and mix until all of the ingredients have been evenly incorporated.

4. Pour the mixture into the Bundt Tin and even spread the mixture out.

5. Bake for 40-50 minutes, the cake should have risen and become golden brown. You can test the cake with a skewer to see if it is baked. If it comes out clean the bake is baked.

6. Leave the Orange and Hazelnut Bundt Cake to cool for about an hour.

7. While the cake is cooling make the ganache. To make the ganache heat the cream until it starts to simmer. Then pour the cream into a bowl with the chocolate. Mix until all of the chocolate has melted and you get a nice smooth, glossy mixture.

8. Once the cake has cooled, drizzle the chocolate ganache over the cake.

9. Finish the cake by sprinkling over chopped hazelnuts.
